About Railay Beach
Railay feels like an island but is actually a peninsula — sheer limestone cliffs seal it off from the rest of Krabi, so there are no roads in and the only way to arrive is by boat. That isolation is exactly what keeps it so beautiful and laid-back.
From Ao Nang the longtail crossing takes only about 15 minutes. Spend the day on Railay West, walk over to Phra Nang Cave Beach — often rated one of the world's best — watch climbers on the cliffs, or hike up to the hidden viewpoint and lagoon.
Highlights
- Railay West — soft sand and sunset views
- Phra Nang Cave Beach — a world-famous beach
- Hidden lagoon & viewpoint hike
- World-class rock climbing on the karsts
How we do this tour
We arrange this as a private trip from Ao Nang on a longtail boat, speedboat or our private catamaran — whichever suits your group, budget and the sea conditions. Your itinerary and timing are built around you, not a fixed group schedule.
Pricing: We quote authentic local prices based on your group size, the boat you choose and the season. Optional extras (private chef, romantic set-up, extra stops) are quoted on request — no inflated tourist mark-ups.
Good to know
- Reachable only by boat — no road access. Longtails run from Ao Nang beach.
- Great for a half-day or full-day trip; pair it with Poda or the 4 Islands.
- Tide affects the walk between beaches — we time the crossing for you.
Best for: Couples and active travellers who want dramatic scenery very close to Ao Nang. · Travel time: ~15 minutes from Ao Nang
What our island-tour guests say
Lovely houses that were perfect for us as a family! We really appreciated the hosts, who were welcoming and helpful with everything. And the place was in the middle of nature and offered a view of the Buddha! We loved both the accommodation and the pool.
Magnificent villa and the hosts are really friendly too. I recommend it to everyone.
A wonderful stay. The best villa for a family of 10 people. Spacious, clean, with top-quality service provided from start to finish. The owner and co-owner were absolutely fantastic — any issue was resolved immediately. If I had another family celebration, this is the place I'd go. Thank you.
Very satisfied with our stay in this villa. The host was very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend this villa to anyone thinking of staying here. Thank you so much.
