About Bamboo Island
Bamboo Island is small, low and ringed by some of the whitest sand in the Andaman. The water stays shallow and clear a long way out, which makes the snorkelling here some of the easiest and most rewarding in the Phi Phi area.
Because it sits beyond Phi Phi, Bamboo Island is best combined with a full-day Phi Phi tour from Ao Nang — a great finishing stop where you can swim, snorkel and relax on the sand before heading back.
